FaZe Clan is a professional esports team that has teams competing in Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Overwatch. It was founded as a gaming clan on YouTube by FaZe ClipZ, FaZe Resistance and FaZe Housecat (later named Timid), by making trickshotting videos for the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. These early members originally created sniping videos for the Call of Duty game series. The team would later be led by current co-manager FaZe Temperrr.
