Falling (Alison Moyet song)
"Falling" is a song by English singer Alison Moyet, released in 1993 as the lead single from her fourth studio album Essex. It was written by Moyet and Pete Glenister, and produced by Ian Broudie. The song failed to enter the UK Top 40, peaking just outside at #42. It stayed on the chart for three weeks. Due to the disappointing charting of the song, CBS/Columbia Records insisted that the follow-up, "Whispering Your Name", was re-recorded and remixed to create a more 'commercial' sound. A promotional video was filmed for the single.
