Felis margarita harrisoni
Felis margarita harrisoni, known as the Arabian sand cat is a subspecies of the sand cat native to the deserts of the Arabian peninsula and Jordan. Between July 2000 and September 2001, it was also recorded in the central Syrian desert, close to the ruins of Palmyra.
