Freddy Ginebra

Freddy Danilo Ginebra Giudicelli (b. 17 February 1944 in Santo Domingo) is a cultural agent, writer and Dominican journalist. Ginebra, studied right in the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo and afterwards in the University of New York in English philology, sciences of the communication, cultural administration and public relations. At age 19, he produced in 1964, the television program Cita con la Juventud. He was President of the Dominican League of Advertising Agencies (LIDAP) and founded in 1974, the House of Theatre, a cultural Centre in the city of St Domingo, and he became its Director since. The Centre participated since its beginnings in the historical Festival of 7 days with the people through protest culture, among others, Silvio Rodríguez, Mercedes Sosa, Ana Belén, The Guar
