Frodingham, Lincolnshire
Frodingham was a village in North Lincolnshire, now a suburb in the north-east of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. The population is included in the Crosby and Park ward of the North Lincolnshire Unitary Authority. The former Frodingham railway station was built by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway; it closed in 1926. In 1912 the Frodingham Ironworks was taken over by the Appleby Ironworks to form the Appleby-Frodingham Steel Company. The North Lincolnshire Museum is located in the former village vicarage, built in 1874 on the site of Frodingham Hall.
