Gangaa is a daily soap opera that airs every Monday to Friday at 08:00 pm in the UK and at 8:30pm on &TV. It premiered on March 2, 2015. The show is about a young girl named Ganga, who became a widow at a tender age when she lost her husband whom she never knew or has never seen his face, and loses her father whom she was very close to, in a riot on the bank of the River Ganges in Banaras Varanasi. The show is about her fighting for her rights against society to live her life happily, opposing all the restrictions put on her as a widow. Further on how her journey takes on living in the Chaturvedi house, Then 10 years later it shows Gangaa's immense love for her soulmate Sagar, Soon then her life takes a turnover when 7 years pass she is bringing up her and Sagar's daughter Krishna alone.
