German Historical Institute(s) (GHI, German: Deutsche Historische Institute, DHI) are nine independent academic research institutes situated in Rome; Paris; London; Washington, D.C.; Warsaw; Moscow; Beirut; Istanbul; and Tokyo. Part of the Max Weber Foundation, they are dedicated to the study of historical relations between Germany and the host countries in which they are based.
