Gousto is a British Internet retailer, headquartered in Shepherds Bush, London. The company was founded by Timo Schmidt and James Carter in June 2012. Gousto offers recipe kit boxes which include fresh ingredients and step-by-step, chef-designed recipes. It has been voted best recipe kit service by the Independent, the Guardian, the Metro and Time Out London. In August 2013, Gousto's co-founders appeared on the BBC's Dragons' Den. In December 2015, Gousto raised £9m in funding from BGF Ventures, MMC Ventures, Unilever Ventures and the Angel Co-Fund.
