HMS Dundee (L84)
HMS Dundee was a Royal Navy sloop of World War II. The ship saw service primarily as a convoy escort in the Atlantic. She was sunk by a German submarine while escorting one of these convoys in September 1940. Some sources place Dundee in Falmouth class, others that she was part of the Shoreham class, which was derived from the Bridgewater class. Others make the ship to be part of Bridgewater class. She was built in Kent and launched in 1932.
