Hair cloning

Current treatments of hair loss mainly consist of the taking of hormonal drugs to prevent additional balding, and hair transplant methods, such as Follicular unit Transplants, using either the Strip method of donor removal, or Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), which in most cases is capable of restoring the look of full hair. It isn't as dense because the techniques used require redistributing the patient's existing hair to new sites. For the hair transplant however, donor hair is needed, but with the cloning of one's own follicular cells, this would not be necessary. The technology to clone hair is not yet available.
