Health Initiative of the Americas
Health Initiative of the Americas (HIA), or Iniciativa de Salud de las Américas (ISA), is a Latino program focusing mainly on migrant and immigrant health issues. It is part of the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. HIA works in collaboration with nine Latin American countries: Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru, Brazil, Venezuela and Uruguay.
