Hinesville – Fort Stewart metropolitan area

The Hinesville-Fort Stewart Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of two counties – Liberty and Long – in Georgia, anchored by the city of Hinesville and Fort Stewart. As of the 2000 census, the MSA had a population of 71,914 (though the 2010 Census placed the population at 77,917). The Hinesville–Fort Stewart Metropolitan Statistical Area is part of the larger Savannah–Hinesville–Statesboro Combined Statistical Area.
