History of Bangalore
Bengaluru (/ˈbæŋɡəlɔːr/; Kannada: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, IPA: [beŋɡaɭuːru]) is India's Garden City and outsourcing capital of the world through IT. It is also capital city of the state of Karnataka. Bengaluru previously Bendakaluru was founded by Kempe Gowda I, who built a mud fort at the site in 1537. It has been developed over the years into an industrial and IT hub in India.
