Hitman: Codename 47 / Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is an album containing the soundtracks of the first two Hitman video games, both composed by Jesper Kyd. The score of the first game, Hitman: Codename 47, is entirely electronic. The score of the second game, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, was performed by the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and the Hungarian Radio Choir, conducted by Béla Drahos. The album features full editions of both scores, as well as less known material from early demos. The first game's score had never been commercially released before the release of this compilation. The album is a very good indicator of Kyd's musical style and how it has developed from its roots, especially within the Hitman franchise.
