Hull Grammar School
Hull Grammar School was a school in Hull, England, founded around 1330 and endowed in 1486 by Dr. John Alcock. In 1944, the Education Act of 1944 brought the School under Local Authority control, before eventually transitioning back into the independent sector in 1989. At this time, as a private School, it was established on its final site on Cottingham Road, opposite the University of Hull.
