I Shot Ya (song)

I Shot Ya is a controversial song by LL Cool J of the album Mr. Smith. The song was produced by the Trackmasters. The official remix features Prodigy (of Mobb Deep), Foxy Brown, Fat Joe and Keith Murray. 2Pac took this song as a diss towards him, as it released during the time when he was infamously robbed and shot in a recording studio in Manhattan. 2Pac's response came back in the forms of an unreleased track named "Lil Homies". DMX and Ja Rule recorded a freestyle over the beat of this song. In the freestyle DMX disses Tupac in the lines "You know for real that n***a tupac, suck my d**k". He later used the lyrics on his debut hit single "Get at Me Dog" and dissed K-Solo instead of Tupac.
