Institute of Art, Music and Science is a non-profit organization that strives to provide K-12 student musicians throughout Long Beach, Bellflower, California as well as its surrounding communities the opportunity to hone their musical talents under the tutelage of music instructors at affordable costs. The institute was founded in 1990 and started with a single violin lesson, and has now grown to include lessons in oboe, piano, cello, flute, clarinet, trumpet, guitar, saxophone, and voice, as well as in art, math, and English.
