Jamuna Group is one of the largest Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates. The industries under this conglomerate include Textiles, Chemicals, Leather, Consumer products, Media, Advertisement etc. Jamuna was established in the 1970s by Nurul Islam Babul, an architect, a pioneer ultimately an Industrial leader in the private sector. Nurul Islam Babul is a Bangladeshi business magnate[1] and politician of the Awami League party. He is considered one of the wealthiest men in Bangladesh.[2] Best known for the Jamuna Group and Jamuna Future Park, Babul is also the owner of the Bangla daily Jugantor.
