Jumper (suicide)

A jumper, in police and media parlance, is a person who plans to fall or jump (or already has fallen or jumped) from a potentially deadly height, sometimes with the intention to commit suicide, at other times to escape conditions inside (e.g., a burning building). Songs which incorporate jumping as their main theme include: * Third Eye Blind – Jumper (1998) * Rammstein – Spring (2005) * Sleater-Kinney – Jumpers (2005) * Lana Del Rey – Summertime Sadness (2012) * Tokio Hotel - Don't Jump (2007)
