Jung District, Seoul

Jung District (Jung-gu), literally meaning Central District, is one of the 25 gu which make up the city of Seoul, South Korea. It is located on the north side of the Han River, and as its name implies, is the historical center of the city. In addition, together with cultural sites as Myeongdong Cathedral and the Bank of Korea Museum, there are famous landmarks of Seoul such as N Seoul Tower on Namsan mountain in Jung District. And Myeongdong is one of the most famous shopping areas in South Korea, and is one of favorite tourist destinations.
