KGGL
KGGL (93.3 FM, "Eagle 93") is a commercial radio station in Missoula, Montana, airing a country music format. For at least two decades before becoming country, KGGL was KDXT, XT 93 as it was called was Missoula and Western Montana's station for hit music. It was Missoula's home for Casey's top 40 and American Top 40. Then suddenly in 1996 it flipped to country music to take on established country outlet KYSS. This left Missoula and western Montana without an affiliate for pop music until KXDR signed on in July 1999. Throughout its history, the station has competed with KYSS as being western Montana's most powerful radio station as it can reach almost every county west of the continental divide.
