KHB40 (sometimes referred to as Galveston All Hazards) is a U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Weather Radio station that serves the coastal communities of Greater Houston and can be heard over 40 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. It is programmed from the National Weather Service forecast office in League City, Texas with its transmitter located in Hitchcock, Texas. The transmitter used to be on top of the American National Insurance building in Galveston. It broadcasts weather and hazard information for the following counties: Brazoria, Chambers, Galveston, and Southeast Harris
