La Cañada Stakes

The La Cañada Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually during the second week of February (or, at times, January) at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. A Grade II event, the race is open to four-year-old fillies and mares willing to race one and one-eighth miles on dirt. In 2012 the distance was reverted to  1 1⁄16 miles and the race was held in mid January.
