It was founded in 1902 when the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines offered ten Filipino Augustinian nuns a house near the Basilica of San Sebastián. The College is located beside the College of the Holy Spirit and across Centro Escolar University in the city's San Miguel district, which also contains Malacañang Palace.
