It has a total nameplate capacity of 9 MW of electricity, providing enough power to serve the average needs of 5,400 homes. The site occupies land between Mansfield and Rainworth in Nottinghamshire. The wind turbines stand 125 metres (410 ft) high to the rotor tip, making them the tallest in Nottinghamshire.
