MEPs Against Cancer

MEPs Against Cancer is a group of 43 Members of the European Parliament who aim to "promot[e] action on cancer as an EU priority and [harness] European health policy to that end" and to encourage every country to develop a national plan for combating cancer. It is chaired by Slovenian representative Alojz Peterle and British Liberal Democrat MEP for the West Midlands Liz Lynne, who founded the group alongside Cypriot former MEP Adamos Adamou.
