MSG Varsity
News 12 Varsity (formerly known as MSG Varsity) is an online high school sports programming service focused on the New York metropolitan area, which covers schools from Connecticut, New Jersey, Westchester County, New York and the Hudson Valley, Long Island and New York City. The network consists of a web site (news12Varsity.com), interactive TV channel and a mobile app. Owned and operated by Altice USA, the network is advertised as "Only on Optimum" and is only available to Optimum TV and internet subscribers. News 12 Varsity was also a high school sports television network until 2013. As a result of layoffs announced in July 2013, the network switched to an online service, complemented by an interactive video channel on September 1, 2013.
