Mariupol International Airport

Mariupol International Airport (Ukrainian: Міжнародний аеропорт Маріуполь, Russian: Международный аэропорт Мариуполь) (IATA: MPW, ICAO: UKCM), previously known as Zhdanov Airport, is a primary airport of Mariupol, which is located 5km from the city. Since 19 June 2014 the airport is closed. The airport is situated on the extreme south-eastern part of Ukraine near the border with Russia. The airport serves a large industrial city and the port on the Sea of Azov, linking it to other regions of the country.
