Mega Man is an upcoming American animated television series based on Capcom's video game series of the same name and is developed by Man of Action Studios and produced by Dentsu Entertainment USA and DHX Media. The show will be aired in 2017 as a part of the franchise's 30th anniversary. The show will be based on the Classic series, rather than the other variations of the video game franchise such as Mega Man X or Mega Man Battle Network. The series will be similar to the short-lived Dreamwave Productions comic book series as it focuses on Mega Man (Aki Light) going to school. It will air on Disney XD.
