Miraflores Charterhouse

Miraflores Charterhouse (Spanish: Cartuja de Miraflores) is a charterhouse, or Carthusian monastery of the Order of the Carthusians built on a hill (known as Miraflores) about three kilometers of the center of the Spanish city of Burgos, autonomous community of Castile and León, in Spain. It is a later-Gothic jewel, in its set highlights the church, with Isabelline style's western facade decorated with the coats of its founders. The monastery consists of a single nave with starry vault, with side chapels, and topped by a polygonal apse.
