This was the 1st edition of the renewed Miss Panama pageant, after Justine Pasek, Miss Universe 2002, and César Anel Rodríguez be named the new directors of the pageant in Panamá.20 preliminay contestants have been selected from all over Panama and competed for the prestigious crown. Miss Panamá 2015 Gladys Del Carmen Brandao Amaya crown her successor Keity Drennan Mendieta at the end of the event.
