The Mohammad Hassani (or Mamasanis) are a large Baloch tribe (sunni muslims) living in the districts of Chagai, Kharan, Washuk, Kalat, Awaran, Khuzdar, Quetta, Nushki, Mastung, Panjgur and Makran in Balochistan and Sindh and Panjab.They also have notable presence in Helmand (Afghanistan), Zahidan (Iran) and Iraq. According to some estimates ,their population is 54,0000 in Pakistan. Senator Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hasni of Dalbandin has been heading the tribe for many years .They speak several languages including Balochi, Brahui, and Persian.
