Mud Island '97

Mud Island '97 are two complete concerts by Athens, Georgia's Widespread Panic. These two shows are the first releases from Widespread Panic's Porch Songs project. These performances were recorded live at Mud Island Amphitheater in Memphis, Tennessee on July 18 & 19, 1997. The two-track soundboard recording features all original band members including late guitarist Michael Houser. The July 19 show featured several guests: Daniel Hutchens and Eric Carter from Bloodkin on Guitar and Vocals; Matt Abts from Gov't Mule on timbales, and Gov't Mule frontman Warren Haynes on guitar.
