Pakistan Rangers

The Pakistan Rangers (Urdu: پاکستان رینجرز‎) is an umbrella term for the paramilitary Rangers of the Sindh and Punjab provinces of Pakistan, despite the fact that although these two organisations are federal agencies they operate at the provincial level under two distinct and separate chains of command. Rangers are formally supervised by Special Security Unit, National Crises Management Cell, Ministry of Interior , Government of Pakistan but very often they carry activities under the command and leadership of Pakistan Army, though not a part of it.
