The Palace Theatre is a West End theatre in the City of Westminster in London. Its red-brick facade dominates the west side of Cambridge Circus behind a small plaza near the intersection of Shaftesbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road. The Palace Theatre seats 1,400. On 7 June 2016, the two part play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child began previews at the theatre, with the official opening night for both parts on 30 July, and originally booking until 18 September 2016. The premiere was scheduled for July 30, 2016 and by then, the run had been extended to May 2017.
