Panthéon-Assas University

Panthéon-Assas University (French: Université Panthéon-Assas [ynivɛʁsite pɑ̃teɔ̃ asas], commonly referred to as "Assas" [asas] or "Paris II" [paʁi dø] and sometimes as "Sorbonne Law School") is a public university in Paris, France. Heir of the faculty of law and economics of the University of Paris (La Sorbonne), it was established as its successor when the world's second oldest academic institution was divided into autonomous universities in 1970. It is a member of the alliance Sorbonne University.
