People TV is an Indian television channel based in Trivandrum. It was launched by Malayalam Communications Limited. The channel focuses on news and current issues. People TV introduced on-camera sting operations to Malayalam television journalism on a limited basis. The channel took responsibility for the SMS campaign against the death sentence of Saddam Hussain. More than 75,000 people expressed their feelings against the US.
