Port Said Stadium

Port Said Stadium (Arabic: ستاد بورسعيد‎‎) or "Stad Būr Sa'īd", is a multi-use stadium with an all-seated capacity of 17,988. The stadium is banned until 2016. Located in Al-Manakh district in Port Said, Egypt, it was completed in 1955, and was inaugurated by Hussein el-Shafei the Egyptian minister of social affairs on behalf of President Gamal Abdel Nasser. It is used by Al-Masry Club. The Stadium was one of the stadiums to be used in the 2006 African Cup of Nations and 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Egypt so it underwent a major renovation, and was brought up to FIFA's standard.
