Ptolemy Project

The Ptolemy Project is an ongoing project aimed at modeling, simulating, and designing concurrent, real-time, embedded systems. The focus of the Ptolemy Project is on assembling concurrent components. The principal product of the project is the Ptolemy II model based design and simulation tool. The Ptolemy Project is conducted in the Center for Hybrid and Embedded Software Systems (CHESS) in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences of the University of California at Berkeley, and is directed by Prof. Edward A. Lee.
