Rognedinsky District

Rognedinsky District (Russian: Рогне́динский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,051 square kilometers (406 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Rognedino. Population: 7,284 (2010 Census); 8,952 (2002 Census); 11,014 (1989 Census). The population of Rognedino accounts for 43.4% of the district's total population.
