SS Cape Jacob (T-AK-5029)
SS Cape Jacob Was first launched as the SS California to be used by the Maritime Administration, it was delivered in 1962 and put under contract to the States Steamship company. The ship was later transferred to the Military Sea Lift Command, and put in to reserve status temporarily then transferred to active duty as a prepositioning ship where it remains to this day.
