Sagittaria ambigua

Sagittaria ambigua, the Kansas arrowhead, is an aquatic plant species native to the central United States (Indiana, Illinois, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma). It grows in wet areas, mostly along the shores of ponds and waterways. Sagittaria ambigua is a perennial herb up to 90 cm (3.0 ft) tall. Leaves are broadly lanceolate, the blade up to 20 cm (7.9 in) long and 12 cm (4.5 in) wide.
