Saint Anthony Abbot Tempted by a Heap of Gold is a painting by the 15th-century Sienese painter known as the Master of the Osservanza. Completed circa 1435 in tempera and gold on panel, it is one of his cycle of eight works representing scenes from Saint Anthony's life. The painting was held by Prince Léon Ouroussoff of Vienna until acquired by American banker Philip Lehman in 1924. Today it is housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
