Seo Young-kyo

Seo Young-kyo (Hangul: 서영교; hanja: 徐瑛敎; born 11 November 1964) is a South Korean academic and politician in the liberal Minjoo Party of Korea. She has been a member of the National Assembly for Jungnang, Seoul, since 2012. Born in 1964 in Sangju, North Gyeongsang, Seo studied political science and international relations at Ewha Womans University as an undergraduate, and went on to receive an MA in public administration and PhD in East Asian studies from the same university. She later became an associate professor at the Graduate School of Communication and Information at Dongguk University.
