Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, previously known as the Frontier Women University, is in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was formed as result of an order from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in 2004 to provide quality education to the women of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and improve the quality and professionalism of their education. It is one of the first public sector universities in providing affordable educational opportunities to the female students of KPK to improve their identity at the national and international level.
