Shakhovskaya (Russian: Шаховская) is an urban locality (a work settlement) and the administrative center of Shakhovskoy District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the Izel and the Khovanka Rivers, 154 kilometers (96 mi) from Moscow.
