Siege of Autun

In 356 AD, Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate received a report that Augustodunum (Autun) was under attack by a group of Alamanni and that as a result of the poor state of repair of the walls, the city was in danger of falling. He marched to Autun and relieved the siege.
