So Near, So Far (Musings for Miles)

So Near, So Far (Musings for Miles) is a 1993 album by jazz saxophonist Joe Henderson, the second of the five albums he recorded with Verve Records during the end of his career. It is a tribute to trumpeter Miles Davis, who Henderson greatly admired and with whom he performed for only a few weekends in 1967. The songs were all written by or associated with Davis, and the musicians all played with Davis at formative stages in their respective careers.
