South Shore Line (Montreal)
The South Shore Line is a proposed rapid transit line for the Société de transport de Montréal network in Montreal, Quebec. The line would link the South Shore suburb of Brossard to Downtown Montreal by crossing the St. Lawrence River on the new Champlain Bridge, set to be completed in 2018. The 15-kilometre-long (9.3 mi) line would be built along Autoroute 10 at an estimated cost of $2.9 billion. The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec is expected to assume financing for the new line.
