Sparx Animation Studios is a visual effects/animation company that creates feature films, TV shows and game cinematics. Sparx is owned by Virtuos, and has production teams in Shanghai, Chengdu and Saigon, and offices in Paris, Vancouver and Tokyo. Sparx was founded in 1995 by Jean-Christophe Bernard, Guillaume Hellouin and Fabrice Giger, and became well known for co-producing Rolie Polie Olie with Nelvana and Disney Channel. The company produced the fully computer-animated movie Igor, starring John Cusack and Molly Shannon which was released on September 19, 2008.
